It's all in the details ... and here are the details you need to know for your session:
My Part:
- My style has been described as fun, hip and modern. My goal is to capture your unique personality and/or your special family connections in each image. So, I'm there to help you laugh, giggle, and have a good time. You'll feel good about yourself and will be reminded how much you love your family. We'll pick a cool place to go and we'll do your your session outdoors, using natural light. Trust me, it's way more fun this way!
- Your session fee for up to 5 people is $250.00 (pricing subject to change) and will last about two hours - depending on how much fun we're having! Before I even pull out my camera, we'll get to know each other a little bit better. We'll talk about you, discuss your goals for the shoot, and explore your location for the best colors, textures and lighting for each shot. Once we get started, I'll include both candid shots and casually posed images. Remember, we want to capture who you really are, your life, and tell your story! (Additional fees apply for groups of more than five people.)
- Within approximately two weeks, you'll be able to view your session's best images at my online viewing gallery at www.capturedbybethany.smugmug.com. You'll have a limited personal-use copyright on the digital negatives of about 30 of the session's best images. Each image will be individually processed and enhanced for a unique and custom look and they will be all yours to save, print, or share as you wish. Print packages through me are available upon request.
Your part:
- Come to your session ready to have fun and be yourself. Trust me, my camera and I are nothing to be afraid of! I'll be there to coach you through this whole experience. And, please just trust me when I ask you to try something new or do something a little silly - just go with it! I promise I won't make you look like a dork!
- The question I'm most often asked is: "What do I wear?" Choosing what to wear can really stress a person out, but it doesn't have to. I always suggest something casual, fun, and comfortable. Avoid clothes that have distracting logos or designs. But, by all means ... include some color! Dress cool! Have fun with your clothes and don't worry so much about everyone being matchy-matchy. One idea is to pick a print from one of of your children's pieces, and build off that. Try to mix, match and layer your pieces, kick off your shoes, and bring accessories! Great additions to your photo wardrobe can include jackets, chunky jewlery, hats, scarves, legwarmers, ipods, sunglasses, tutus - whatever! And please, oh please ... NO tennis shoes (unless they're Converse or something like that)! Like I said, have fun with it and don't be afraid to be silly! If you're still unsure, call me and I'll share all my secrets of looking your best the day of the shoot!
- Your session fee is due at the time of your shoot. I accept cash or check only. Please note that additional fees are requried for travel outside the west valley or for groups of more than five people.
Contact me right away to book your session! I look forward to capturing the memories of your life with you.
Hello my name is Cassandra Avechuco and I am a student from Cheryl Christiansen's Photography Class and wanted to see if I can work out maybe an internship with you. I want to become a photojournalist and just love taking photos. I am only 19yrs old so I wanted to start early and reach the point where I could do photography on the side through college to help earn some extra money, and when you came and spoke to out class I realized we have the same type of style and ideas when it comes to photography. I figured I would give it a shot on interning with you for a few months but if that would be too much for you than please let me know because I know your a busy women. Feel free to send me and email or call me at 602-561-4328.
